Dressed in Eric’s Vietnam uniform- complete with medals- Truman Lorick approaches the filming location for the special we did for Magnolia Network about the WWII Higgins Boat we preserved - 15 minutes later we got caught in a torrential downpour! The special can be seen on the streaming platform for Magnolia network.

There’s a first time for everything! Eric joined Doug from Boltzen Construction to inspect a storefront on 2nd Street here in Eureka. Witnesses report that Eric jokingly kissed the ground when he got down. Blue Ox will be doing some of the needed work. As it turns out it is next-door to the house that I was living in when I met Eric in 1976! It had previously been a brothel, with a hall and a shared kitchen and bathroom and the rent 50 years ago was $75 a month. Did Eric and I know what the next 50 years will bring!
