If you’re looking for something different to do in April 11th, I’ll be running a Viking Axe forging experience at the Viking Festival!

It’s a hands-on class where you’ll actually forge your own Viking-style axe from hot steel (no experience needed — I walk you through everything).

It’s basically controlled chaos with fire and hammers… and you get to take the axe home when you’re done.

I’ve got limited spots available throughout the day since it’s a small setup.

Also — if you can’t make the festival, I run railroad spike knife classes out of my shop where you can forge your own knife in a similar style experience.

Both have been a lot of fun to run and even better to watch people try for the first time.

Making Railroad Spike knives are cool… but now we’re making axes.

On April 11 at the Viking Festival, I’m running a Viking Axe forging experience where you’ll forge your own Viking-style axe at the coal forge.

Same idea as the railroad spike class:

• No experience needed
• Fire and hammers involved
• You make the axe yourself
• You get to take it home

Basically the knife class… just bigger and more Viking.

I only have 32 spots for the day, and a few are already gone.

If you’ve taken the spike class and thought “that was fun, but I wish the weapon was larger”, this might be your next step.
