If you have wood trim on the exterior of your home, keep it painted and sealed is the best way to avoid costly repairs from water infiltration and wood rot. This is an example of poor flashing at the time the home was built and much needed exterior painting/sealing. These boards were all painted on the front, back and all edges even after being cut, all the seams were caulked with Quad prior to installation and new Z flashing was installed.

Finished a project when another contractor skipped out on the client...setting the final cabinets, re-installing cabinets not set properly, installing the two piece crown, toe kicks, end panels, roll out trays, light rail, re-trim of kitchen window/sill, drywall repairs to the wall and backsplash tile!

Remodeling-First floor, Green Forest kitchen cabinets with White Ornamental granite and subway tile splash, laundry room removal of the swing door, closet, old laundry sink and installed a microlam header, pocket door and built in's from scratch, luxury vinyl plank flooring, oak and wrought iron stairway balastrade, solid oak re-claimed barn beam fireplace mantle and a sliding barn door for the bathroom.

This job was interesting for sure. Updating without breaking the bank. A tub and sink bowl epoxy refresher, replaced an old galvanized sink drain that was almost completely rusted shut, drywall repairs, paint, new tile base trim, bedroom hardwood floor repair, sand and finish.

Hey folks, public service announcement!
If you haven’t already, please disconnect your garden hoses from the faucet before temps get colder! It can freeze and split the pipe inside the house. If its an older faucet...it can mean instant flooding if the temp’s warm up just a little bit.
If its a newer faucet...it will mean a surprise flooding in the spring time when you turn on the faucet for the first time.
Disconnect those hoses!
