What’s going underneath your metal roof?

The roofing panels get most of the attention, but what goes underneath matters, too.

Therma-Guard is an insulating underlayment available at MRC, offering another option to consider when planning your roofing system.

Have questions about Therma-Guard for an upcoming project? Stop by our Foley location or give our team a call!

A different view of standing seam.

This project is coming together with MRC’s 1” Nail Strip standing seam panels in Charcoal Gray.

The drone footage gives a great look at the roof as installation progresses — and that Charcoal Gray looks sharp from every angle.

Have a standing seam project coming up? Talk to us about your material options.

Stay alert and stay safe!!!

10/09/2026

As the storm approaches, we encourage everyone along the Gulf Coast to stay informed and prepared. Keep an eye on updates from local officials, make sure you have more than one way to receive weather alerts, and take time to charge your phones and other essential devices.

Above all, make safety a priority. Take care of yourselves and one another. Stay safe!!!

From Alabama Power

We know many of our customers are watching Hurricane Isaias closely and making preparations for their families and homes. We are preparing right alongside them.

• Our teams continue to closely monitor Hurricane Isaias and prepare for potential impacts across Alabama. While forecasts can still change, we are taking steps now to be ready wherever our customers may need us.
• In addition to Alabama Power's own Storm Team, we've secured an additional 5,700 personnel from 25 states, bringing support from across half the nation to stand alongside our crews if needed.
• Those additional crews and resources are being staged strategically, alongside Alabama Power personnel, so they can get to work as quickly and safely as possible if outages occur.
• Restoration begins before the storm arrives. Our teams have been positioning equipment, securing materials and coordinating resources so we can respond efficiently when conditions are safe.
• Today is an important day for our customers to prepare, too. We encourage everyone to stay weather aware, follow guidance from local officials, have multiple ways to receive weather alerts and make sure phones and other essential devices are charged.
• Customers can stay connected with us throughout the storm. Visit OutageMap.AlabamaPower.com to see outages by county, ZIP code, city or municipality and follow live weather radar.
• Follow us on social media for storm updates from the field and connect to our outage map at AlabamaPower.com/storm.
• If your power goes out, let us know. You can report an outage at AlabamaPower.com, through the Alabama Power mobile app or by calling 800-888-2726. This is also a good time to make sure you have an online account set up and know your login information to make reporting outages easier.
• Above all, put safety first. Stay away from downed or hanging power lines and never attempt to remove limbs or debris that may be touching electrical equipment.

Sandbags are in place, and we’re taking the necessary precautions ahead of the approaching storm.

🚨A reminder that MRC will be closing at 12 PM today to allow our team time to prepare and get home safely to their families.🚨

To our customers, contractors, and Gulf Coast community — stay safe and take care of one another!
