Apparently our phones are not working( wondering why it was so quiet) but we ARE OPEN until 3pm as usual.
Tomorrow I guess I get to be on hold with the phone company listening to bad elevator music remembering how important I am to them……

Growing up in the 80s meant turning anything into a thrill ride.

And a metal trash-can lid was basically our version of a luxury sled.

We didn’t care that it was loud, wobbly, or impossible to steer.

Half the fun was seeing how fast we could go before we spun out.

We raced down hills with no helmets, no fear, and no idea how we weren’t breaking bones every weekend.

But that was the magic of it.

We lived through the kind of childhood that didn’t need instructions.

We just found something that looked dangerous and figured it out as we went.

The cold air stung, the snow blasted our faces, and we laughed so hard we couldn’t breathe.

And somehow, those reckless winter days left a bigger mark than all the things we planned as adults.

Because in the 80s, fun didn’t come from playing it safe.

It came from doing things that would probably get banned today.
