- Did you know there are two basic methods for securing cargo?
- Direct Tie-Down – The tie-down is attached directly from the anchor point to the load, helping to prevent movement in a specific direction.
Indirect Tie-Down – The tie-down passes over or around the load and relies on tension to increase friction and keep the cargo secure.
Understanding the difference is an important part of proper load securement and safer transportation.
