This little guy has been part of our Colony family since 2018. He was our pest control guy. Feisty and full of life. He would go missing for days and I was sure he was gone for good and just as I gave up hope he would show up and I would breathe a sigh of relief. He was gone for almost three weeks this time and came back in bad shape. An angel from a cat rescue that I have dealt with for years came and got him last night and was taking him to the vet this morning but he passed away a little before midnight. She said he came back because he knew I would take care of him. He has now crossed the rainbow bridge and it will never be quite the same without him. Fly high Bob! You were loved by all. RIP little buddy. Many tears were shed today. You will be missed.

We lost a good one Monday night, April 17th. Clem Cole was a long time employee of Fort Worth Bolt & Tool and retired about 15 years ago. You always knew where you stood with him. He was a jokester, a mentor to many, he took the time to pass his knowledge on to others, and would give you the shirt off his back. He was feisty and stood his ground, even if it got him in trouble a time or two 😂. He was one of the originals when Mr,Russell bought the company and it wouldn’t have been the same without him. Funeral arrangements are in the process and it will be held at Bumgardner Funeral Home in Mineral Wells. Fly high, Clemmie and keep on reeling ‘em in! You will be truly missed! If you knew Clem, please leave a comment about a favorite memory or funny story. 🥲❤️

Meet Richard Jean! Richard joined the Colony team two years ago, where he started in the warehouse and has moved his way up to counter sales. His favorite Colony memory was our Christmas party last year. A fun fact about Richard is that he has a twin brother who also works here. When he is not hard at work, Richard loves to spend time with his wife and kids, and also enjoys watching any of the DFW sports teams. Thanks for all you do, Richard. We are lucky to have you!

📣Employee Spotlight📣

Meet Jake Patton! He has been an outstanding part of our outside sales team here at Colony Hardware. His passion for providing the best service and products to his customers has led to his ability to grow his sales territory and regional numbers year over year for the past decade!

His favorite Colony memory is putting together generators during a Nor'easter with the Connecticut repair team. He was shocked when his wrench made contact with the battery, but kept at it to make sure his customers had generators during the storm!

When he's not working, Jake loves to spend time with his wife, Kailey, and their dog Lily. He also enjoys golfing and shooting guns.

We are lucky to have you, Jake! Thank you for everything you do!
