SHAKER BLANKET CHEST
Build this traditional Shaker Blanket Chest using modern methods. This solid cherry chest features dovetail construction and a brass hinged top with heavy duty cleats to prevent warping. Measuring 38” L x 18” W x 23” H, it is the perfect size to be used at the foot of any bed for storage, or to give as a hope chest for newlyweds. We’ll use the table saw, band saw, track saw, jointer, planer, router, router table, as well as the Leigh dovetail jig to make it. Create your own heirloom with this beautiful and functional piece of furniture you built yourself!

Registration is now open for the free kids workshop that we’re conducting as part of our 23rd Anniversary Woodworking Show! In this year’s edition, kids ages 3 - 18 will make a wall shelf that’s perfect for displaying their treasured cars, trucks, action figures, dolls, etc! Project highlights include: personalizing the layout of the shelves (feel free to bring some of their treasures with them to optimize the spacing), cutting dado joinery, sanding components, and gluing everything together. Parental involvement may be required depending on child age and team member availability. Note: Please register for one spot per child that will be attending, and call us at (615) 599-9638 if you need to make changes to your registration.
