Review the workload, the systems it depends on, the access needed to restore it, and the person responsible. Then test the recovery path and document the gaps.

If quality has put a lot on hold, the warehouse needs to know before it picks or ships it.

That requires more than connecting applications. Define which system owns the hold, how quickly it must reach the warehouse, what blocks release, and who handles a failed transfer or disagreement.

A hold affecting an active shipment has a different timing requirement from a monthly report.

Michigan LIFT is opening a route between industrial buyer needs and suppliers expanding production in Michigan.

Announced September 29, the initiative uses Open Calls to match manufacturing and supply-chain challenges with supplier capabilities. Industrial buyers do not have to be based in Michigan.

The founders' contract and financing targets are aspirations, subject to normal qualification and approval—not guaranteed awards.

For U.S. manufacturers, this is a development to watch, not a promise of business.
