Local hardware store that has been family owned and operated since 1987. In July of 1999 the store was rebuilt and re branded as Galesburg Hardware.

In 1968 Richard Bresson worked at the Hardware Store when it was known as Langs Hardware he worked there until 1987 when he was able to purchase the Hardware Store himself and become not just an employee but the owner of Langs Hardware. In December of 1998 Galesburg and Langs made national news when a gas leak caused an explosion and the store was lost. Richard, Karen and their two eldest sons Scott and Bill ran the store together. Sadly Richard passed away in December of 2016. The store is still currently run by Karen, Scott and Bill Bresson.

2026 Hunting season is among us, and with hunting season comes the buck pole!

We're hoping for an awesome turnout again!

We are going to give the people who advertised last year their chance to renew their spot on the buck pole, but we do have room for a few more!! For those who advertise with us already you will be receiving a call to confirm in the next few weeks!! If you are new and hoping to get a spot, message us and we will let you know!
