NOW HIRING: General Laborer
HNL Lumber & Hardware – Giddings, TX
HNL Lumber & Hardware is looking for a hardworking, motivated, and reliable General Laborer to join our team. This position involves handling, sorting, and moving lumber and building materials, assisting with deliveries, and helping maintain a safe and organized yard.

Responsibilities
● Load and unload lumber, pallets, and other materials from trucks and storage areas
● Sort, stack, and organize lumber and building materials
● Assist customers and coworkers with locating and loading materials
● Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
● Deliver materials to local job sites as needed
● Perform yard maintenance including sweeping, debris removal, and equipment cleaning
● Follow all company safety procedures
● Work outdoors in various weather conditions
Qualifications
● Previous lumberyard experience is a plus but not required
● Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the day
● Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
● Good teamwork and communication skills
● Reliable transportation and punctuality
● Valid Texas driver’s license required
● CDL preferred but not required
● Forklift certification preferred but not required
● Must be able to back up trucks and trailers into tight areas
