“Will this handle my material and tonnage?” 🤔
Before ordering press brake tooling, make sure the key factors line up:

✅Tooling tonnage capacity
✅Material type
✅Material thickness
✅V opening

If they don’t, you can end up with bad bends, damaged parts, or chipped tooling.
A common starting point for air bending is a V opening around 8x material thickness, but the right setup depends on the job.
