Most people think they need the full purchase price to own an asset. In the stock market, if you want $250,000 of Apple stock, you need $250,000.
In Real Estate, you use LEVERAGE.
With a 20% down payment, your $50,000 allows you to control a $250,000 property. If that property appreciates just 5%, you didn't make 5% on your $50k—you made 5% on the full $250k!
