The Sheet Metal Kid

The Sheet Metal Kid Thank you for visiting TheSheetMetalKid.com. Before I tell you about me, I would like to share my Core Values I vow to stand by. It may not be easy sometimes.

The Sheet Metal Kid has been in the game for a while. 4th Gen SMW starting at the age of 11, his passion runs deeper than the blood spilt for the cause of metal itself. I am extremely thrilled you have found us, and am very excited to cultivate a healthy working relationship with you. Relationships – At SMK, I value relationships above all else. I want this to be the best experience you have had o

n the web thus far. That is why I place social media in the forefront of this operation. I believe it is a way to develop meaningful relationships. It enables you to know me, and for me to know you. That way I can cater to YOU, be held accountable by YOU, and interact with YOU. Quality – I demand of myself uncompromising quality. But I can assure you that perfection is one of my strengths, and one of my weaknesses as well. Without craftsmanship, we will fail undoubtedly, this is yet another reason why we are held in account, by YOU

Service – Sound cliché? I know service is something I value as a customer, so it is my promise to deliver to you. Great service doesn’t just mean deliver a quality product, but to follow up with perseverance until YOU are satisfied. We know in return, it provokes a sense of community and loyalty. Us teamed together equals mutually profitable results for both parties. I hope you sense the sincerity behind these values that were instilled within my character due to an honest hard working upbringing. I (Ryan Murray), the self-proclaimed “Sheet Metal Kid” has been involved in this industry for quite some time. My Great-grandfather, Owr Murray, was the first of our family to become a sheet metal worker. During WWII he was rejected to serve in the military because of a measly 1 inch he never obtained. He was 4’ 11” and upset that he was unable to serve. This was a secret until he passed and his children were finally able to reveal the truth. My Grandfather, Bert Murray, was the second of our family along with his brother George and several cousins who also became sheet metal workers. My Grandpa Bert was notorious within SMW 104 and the bay area for his layout speed. He and his brother George started “Murray Brothers” in Crocket, CA serving throughout bay area in the 60’s where my father, Bart Murray, started his sheet metal career at 10 years old. My father in turn started “Monarch Mechanical” behind a video store in the quant town of Rio Vista, CA where I was raised every summer from age 11 on up.
