Continuing our celebration of Employee Ownership Month, we’re highlighting what truly sets our culture apart. 🤝

Mead is a great place to work for a lot of reasons, and one of them is that it’s employee-owned — there’s a direct correlation between employees’ efforts and their financial rewards.

October is Employee Ownership Month, and at Mead Lumber and our family of brands, being 100% employee-owned isn't just a corporate structure, it's how we do business every day.

When our team members step into our stores, yards, and manufacturing facilities, they aren't just doing a job; they’re building their own future. From taking extra care with job site deliveries to giving expert advice at the counter, "thinking like an owner" translates directly into how we serve our customers and local communities.

Hear directly from our team about what employee ownership means to them and why being an ESOP makes Mead Lumber such a rewarding place to grow a career! 👇

Today, on the 25th anniversary of September 11th, we pause in quiet reflection to honor the memory of the innocent lives lost. We pay tribute to the incredible heroism of the first responders, service members, and everyday neighbors who stepped forward in our nation's darkest hour.

At our family of stores, we believe that true strength is built on unity, service, and standing by one another. A quarter of a century later, we remain deeply grateful for those who serve and protect our communities every day.

We remember. Stand together.
