📦 Special delivery: A Core Value Award for Derek!

Shipping is one of those departments where, if everything is going right, nobody notices. But if something goes wrong, everyone notices. Fortunately, Derek's got it handled with care.

Whether he's fulfilling orders, coordinating shipments, or restocking the warehouse, Derek keeps everything moving one box at a time. We're grateful for the attention to detail he puts into his work, ensuring customers receive the tools they need.

Thank you, Derek, for always delivering and proving that good things really do come in well-packed packages!

The secret isn't in the tool—it's in the bolt. 🔩

As the most widely used structural fastener in North America, the tension control (TC) bolt is engineered to indicate when the required tension has been achieved.

But what is the TC bolt installation method, and how is the required minimum tension determined?

These are just the tip of the common questions we hear, and that's exactly what we cover in our latest blog. Learn about:
✔️ Shear wrench operation
✔️ TC bolt installation procedures
✔️ Common installation mistakes
✔️ PIV requirements and best practices

Behind every phone call, tool serviced, and order shipped is a team of hardworking people.

"Work Hard, Play Hard" isn't just a phrase—it's part of our company culture. We put in the work every day to keep our customers building, and we know that taking time to celebrate our team is just as important as hitting our goals.

Our company outing was a chance to step away from the office to enjoy some great food, games, and plenty of downtime together.

Thank you to our team for everything you've accomplished so far this year, and to our customers for trusting us with your business and allowing us to invest in our people.

Please note that our office will be closed on Friday, June 5. Thank you for your patience and continued support. We'll be back and ready to assist you on Monday!

The ultimate test of speed, strategy, and steel!

Hosted by the American Institute of Steel Construction, this year’s SSBC National Finals brought together top student teams from across North America to put their engineering, fabrication, and teamwork skills to the test through the rapid assembly and testing of scale-model steel bridges.

Under strict real-world construction constraints, each team was challenged to design and build a pedestrian bridge while balancing speed, aesthetics, and structural performance.

Opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience, collaborate under pressure, and apply classroom knowledge are invaluable to the future of steel. It’s also the kind of learning many professionals wish they had access to before starting their careers— including us.

Congratulations to the teams that earned a spot in the competition, and to the University of Florida on their first-place finish!

This past weekend, we returned as a Silver Sponsor for the American Institute of Steel Construction Student Steel Bridge Competition National Finals in El Paso!

Investing in technical education and workforce development is an integral part of our mission, and it's a privilege to support a competition that gives students the opportunity to push the boundaries of structural steel innovation.

We always enjoy connecting with these talented future professionals, sharing our industry expertise firsthand, and reconnecting with returning teams.

Competition highlights and photos coming soon!

Congratulations to Nick, our April Core Value Award winner! 🎉

Occasionally, someone joins the team and naturally makes an impact. Nick has done exactly that as our new Tool Repair & Calibration Technician.

He came into the service department during a busy stretch and didn’t hesitate to get his hands dirty. From flipping rentals and installing reverse kits to running calibrations, Nick has taken on every task while learning the ins and outs of our tools.

It takes a great attitude and strong work ethic to step into a fast-paced shop and knock it out from day one. We’re glad to have Nick on our team!
