December 23, 2023. That was our last day of normal business operations. With life changes come big decisions and with a new job opportunity that I couldn't pass up, we made the difficult decision to close down. Our hope was that we would still be able to sell. I am extremely happy to say that we have a buyer, and at 2pm tomorrow afternoon, they will officially become the new owners. I would like to thank the entire Herscher community for their support over the last 21 years. I have truly enjoyed my time on Main Street and I am excited to see what Jeff and Jana have in store for J's Home and Hardware! I would also like to thank my wife Jodi, and my sons Jed and Jace. Without their love and support I don't think the last 21 years would have been possible.
