As older stocks of Luthier Lights get used up, I am switching over to a new, Generation II Luthier Lights. New and improved, and I am still able to offer them to you at the same price that I started selling them at in 2012! The light ribbons have the LEDs a little closer together, so the light heads are a little shorter, but they are actually about 10% brighter. While the power supplies look a bit different, they have the same specs, with the same 6 ft. cord.

I've been using the same type of LED ribbon for my Luthier Lights for 12 years! Turns out that I can't get the exact type any more. After some testing, I have found a new type to use. These strips have the LEDs a bit closer together, so the Version 2 Luthier Lights will be a little shorter. The fact that they are shorter doesn't mean that they aren't as bright. Some measurements show that the Version 2 lights are actually at least 10% brighter!
