Here’s one of ours.
Salvador’s consistency, craftsmanship, and work ethic play a huge part in how our team functions, both in the quality of the slings he builds and the way he supports everyone around him. It’s the way he brings positivity to the team that really stands out. Even on the busiest days, he’s the one who can get everyone smiling.
We’re grateful to have him as part of the Liftgear family.
In this week’s spotlight, we also asked Salvador a few questions about his journey in the rigging industry. Here’s what he shared:
1 –How did you start in this industry?
26 years ago, a friend recommended me to the owner of the company he was working for. I started as a helper, and over the years, I gained more experience in this trade.
2 – What has been one of the biggest challenges you’ve faced in this industry?
This job has required a lot of physical strength. It’s very heavy work, but despite everything, it’s the kind of work I enjoy doing.
3 – Tell us a crazy experience.
On one occasion, my coworker told another coworker, “Let’s race to see who can finish this job faster.”
My coworker and I committed ourselves for three hours to get it done, and in the end we completed 25 pieces of 2-inch material in 3 hours.
The winners were my coworker and me.
4 – What goals do you have?
To keep working for as long as God allows me.
5 – What motivates you to work?
A great company that innovates and creates more opportunities for professional growth.
