Disability Lab is looking for a bilingual (English/Spanish) documentation specialist to help us standardize our wheelchair manufacturing processes! This part-time role (10 hours/week) involves observing and documenting our production processes on-site at our Houston shop, then creating Standard Operating Procedures, Quality Control checklists, and training materials from home. You'll work directly with our production team to capture how we build custom wheelchairs—from frame welding to powder coating to final assembly—and turn that knowledge into clear, accessible documentation in both English and Spanish.
Must haves: Fluent in English & Spanish (written & spoken), strong writing skills, great with people, detail-oriented, and able to work in a manufacturing environment. MUST live in Houston, TX and be available to come to our shop at 203 Burbank St for process observation.
