CITE has been together for a wonderfully long time. We have only started taking our group holiday photos in 2013. Enjoy a another trip down Farish Hall memory lane. 💖📸

As a bonus, today we feature the Farish Hall basement. It was primarily used for storage of CITE, Dean's Office, BOUNCE, other grants/programs, and furniture that is no longer in use. It also housed the Hwemudua Addictions and Health Disparities Laboratory (HAHDL), the Education Research Center (ERC), and the UH Facilities area.

We hope you enjoyed a quick trip down memory lane. The videos were a spur-of-the-moment idea, and in hindsight, we would have opened more doors to film on our last day of FH access. Not to worry, plenty of photos have been taken over the years of the building's exterior and interior. Reach out to CITE or the College Communications team if there is something in particular you would like to see.

Happy Thanksgiving! 😘

Our last feature of the FH hallways is the 1st floor. It accommodated the Educational Leadership & Policies (ELPS) department, the KIVA large classroom, the college storage closet, observational classrooms, Parent-Child Interaction Lab, the Undergraduate Studies Office/Student Success Advising Center, faculty offices, exterior elevators, and many other classrooms.

Feel free to share your favorite 1st-floor memories or photos as a reply to this post. We would love to reminisce with you! 🥰

Today, we remember the 2nd floor of Farish Hall. It housed the Dean's Suite, the Wall of Donors, past Dean portraits, the Office of Finance, the Advancing Community Engagement and Service Institute (ACES), the Curriculum & Instruction (CUIN) department, the Office of Graduate Studies, numerous classrooms (including the science room), and hosted exciting student activities.

Feel free to share your favorite 2nd-floor memories or photos as a reply to this post. We would love to reminisce with you! 🥰

Today, we feature the 3rd floor of Farish Hall. 💖 CITE's primary home, which hosted multiple computer classroom rooms, the server closet, the Help Desk, and the CITE offices/suite. 🖥️ It was also home to Behavior Opportunities Uniting Nutrition, Coaching & Exercise (BOUNCE), The Laboratory for Innovative Technology in Education (LITE) Lab, All Kids Alliance (AKA), Advancing Community Engagement and Service Institute (ACES), TeachHouston, College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP), Ethnicity, Culture, & Health Outcomes Lab (ECHO), Latino and Behavioral Health Research Team (LABHRT), the Art classroom, the Student Lounge, the Active Learning Classroom (ALC), grant/project space, and many faculty offices.

Feel free to share your favorite 3rd-floor memories or photos as a reply to this post. We would love to reminisce with you! 🥰

Starting with the 4th floor of Farish Hall, it was home to the Department of Psychological, Health, and Learning Sciences (PHLS), Office of Research, Asian American Studies Center (Global Leadership Program), housed research space for projects/grants, instructor offices, conference room, a CITE computer lab, collaborative tables at each corner of the floor, and once home to the Educational Leadership & Cultural Studies (ELCS) department.

Feel free to share your favorite 4th-floor memories or photos as a reply to this post. We would love to reminisce with you! 🥰
