How a Rubblizer enabled 676ft of 9-5/8 in casing to be recovered.
A recent operation in China demonstrated the real value of the Rubblizer when tackling challenging slot recovery work. Faced with cemented 9-5/8” 47lb/ft casing that needed to be removed to access the next section, the operator deployed the Rubblizer to precondition the cement sheath and break it down into small, manageable fragments.
The result?
A clean, efficient recovery of 676ft of casing, reduced pulling loads, and an alternative to traditional milling. The Rubblizer helped eliminate the heavy, energy-intensive loads typically seen during conventional cut-and-pull, enabling faster operations and reducing overall risk.
