Cast Products, Inc. team members recently came together for an interactive session with our CFO and interim CEO Mike Pruss.

Mike not only shared Cast’s positive impact as part of NSI, but also took the time to break down financial terms and concepts in a way that was approachable and practical. From understanding everyday terms to exploring the fundamentals of investing, the conversation gave team members tools they can use in both their personal finances and their retirement planning.

What made the session stand out was the open dialogue. There were plenty of thoughtful questions, real conversations, and meaningful connections.

After more than 40 years of leadership, Zoli Salata has retired, leaving behind a remarkable legacy. As the second-generation owner of Cast Products, Zoli helped grow the family business, innovate through change, and guide the team into a new chapter with NSI.

His advice to the next generation? “Keep learning, keep improving.”

NSI recently attended the National Association of Electrical Distributors (NAED) Women in Industry Forum, where two of our leaders – Sara Stephens and Maram Azar – joined professionals from across the industry to build connections 🤝, share insights 💬, and strengthen leadership 💼.

“This industry is all about relationships,” said Sara. “We walked away better equipped to respond to what’s ahead, and with new connections to keep the conversations going.”

Maram added, “The keynote on Intentional Leadership really stood out, emphasizing the importance of building both performance and relationship currency in the workplace.”

Help us celebrate Sal Sanabria, who is retiring this month after an incredible 40 years with the company! As a Project Engineer, Sal brought steady leadership, sharp problem-solving, and a whole lot of heart to everything he did.

Our CHRO, Troy Hayes, recently spent time with the Cast Products Inc. and Remke Industries teams in the Chicago area. During his visit, he met with team members across the facilities and walked the floors to see the day-to-day in action.

These visits were all about gaining a deeper understanding of the business -our manufacturing processes, the complexity of our operations, and the incredible people who make it all happen. It was also an excellent opportunity to witness the pride our teams have in NSI’s products and brands.

🔥Big things are happening at our DFW distribution center🔥

The team recently hosted their very first town hall, bringing employees together for a day full of great conversations and exciting updates.

On top of that, Bridgeport’s inventory is expanding, and the team hit a major milestone by shipping over 500 lines in a single day for the first time.

👏 Congratulations to the entire crew on a successful event and an incredible achievement!

Here’s to continued progress and teamwork. And a special shout out to Distribution Center Director Kevin Welch for grilling lunch🍔
