PushPilot works with standard threaded hole saws and is recommended for sizes starting at 3/4 inch, with sizes up to 4 inches in studs and 6 inches in plywood. Check the material and saw size first, then keep the next hole moving.

The release happens after the cut. Drilling pressure loads PushPilot’s internal spring; when drilling is complete, the spring unloads and ejects the plug so you can move to the next hole.

When you replace a PushPilot drill bit, replace the set screw too. The set screws are designed for one-time use, and the new screw should be tightened against the flat of the drill bit.
