Building our first kit taught us a few lessons worth sharing 👇

1️⃣ Plan ahead! Give yourself a few months so your kit has time to be manufactured. That way everything is ready to go when you are ready to build.

2️⃣ Customize your kit. Every kit can be modified. We swapped the original ladder for a staircase and it made a huge difference. The options are endless.

3️⃣ DOUBLE CHECK THE PLANS! Double-check your plans before you put up walls. You wouldn't want a door to end up in the wrong spot.

Lots of options to choose from, we talk about a crawl space, slab on grade and a basement in this video. There isn't necessarily a right answer but whatever one you think would work best for your build!
