One of the most incredible stories to come out of Turner Ace yet โค๏ธ
Our Stihl departments across all of our stores are built not only on quality work, but on relationships. Returning time and time again, many of our customers have become regulars over the years โ loyal to the store, their technician, and the trust theyโve built over time.
This is particularly the case with Bill. His customers travel across town solely for his service, expertise, and the bond theyโve created throughout their visits.
Meet Bill, our Gold Stihl Technician at our downtown St. Augustine store. Recently, Bill had a customer come in with a request far different than the rest of his clientele. Instead of needing repairs or new equipment, he wanted to give back. Give back to the community that has supported Bill over the years. Give back to those in the landscaping business that arenโt in the same position as him, and could use a boost in their life.
The first day, this gentleman purchased 6 pieces of Stihl equipment for Bill to keep and surprise his current customers with โ the ones who he saw over the years and knew would make a world of a difference in their life. But it didnโt stop there. He kept coming back, week after week, purchasing more equipment for those in need. To date, he has bought over 30 pieces of equipment for Billโs customers.
Inspired by the initiative to pay it forward, all of our Turner Ace Stihl departments have begun giving back to their own customers, selecting one to receive a brand new piece of equipment.
For many of our STIHL customers, their tools are their livelihood. They run their own businesses, support their families, and push through tough circumstances. With costly equipment and constant repairs, they make do with what they have to get the job done. This surprise gives them a renewed sense of purpose โ to keep going.
The impact of this has been nothing short of special. We are so honored and grateful that he chose Bill & Turner Ace Hardware to be a part of his efforts in paying it forward.
