Longtime customer and Jacksonville legend Phil Amato stopped by Hunt Lumber & Supply yesterday to talk about the history of Paschal Brothers, the future of Hunt Lumber, and the exciting changes we’re making around the store.

We appreciate Phil taking the time to share our story and help us celebrate the next chapter of this Jacksonville business that is over 100 years old but just getting started!

The story is expected to air on Action News Jax in a couple of weeks. We’ll keep you posted!

Fire Prevention Week™ is October 4–10!

Whether you're working around the house, in the workshop, or on the jobsite, fire safety is always important. Take some time this week to check a few basics:

🔥Make sure fire extinguishers are accessible and ready to use
🔥Test smoke alarms and replace batteries when needed
🔥Clear sawdust, scraps, and other debris from work areas
🔥Properly store fuels, paints, solvents, and other flammable materials

A safer workspace starts with good habits. 🛠️
