Greetings Friends,
We have a large supply of seasoned hardwood available in large bundles ($5 @), small dump trailer (large face cord $90 PU, $100 delivered), large dump trailer (1 - 1 1/2 full cord $300 - $400 delivered). Stock up for next fall/winter or for your backyard fireside chats this summer! 🙂
We also have a huge inventory of Wisconsin Hardwood Lumber (Walnut, Cherry, Hickory, Red & White Oak, Maple - Hard and Soft, Catalpa), both live edge and square cut. We also stock a large inventory of slabs (counter tops, bars, shelves) cookies, live edge angle cuts, burls, knot outcrops, wood art pieces. We price competitively (I research advertised prices on line and shoot to charge 50%.
We are now launching a sign and plaque generating arm to the business. We have a numerical control router system to allow us to route or laser burn signs, figures, photographs, etc. Soon we will generate samples to display our capability.

I just milled another nice hickory log: I milled off the slabs and a couple of 1” live edge boards, then 6/4 (1 1/2”) slabs and finished with the 8/4 (2”) slabs, the two on the left. This log was just under 10’ in length and will soon be stacked and stickered with the hickory we milled a couple of weeks back. :)

Recently milled white oak planks to be used to deck a heavy duty trailer. All are milled at a full 2” thickness, there are 7-13” planks, 2-10” planks all at about 11 feet long, & 2- 2x6 - 7 feet long (all “full cut” measurements). White oak is one of the strongest and most weather resistant woods grown in the area. :)

Tommy cut a bunch of white oak cookies 3-4” thick, just under 3’ diameter. They will be stacked and stickered tonight. These dry much faster than regular lumber because of the exposed end grain. These will be stored in the silo foundation here, which slows the drying process to minimize splitting.
The lumber shown just came off the mill: all milled at full 1 inch, yielding 7/8”+ and is well figured white oak. It too will soon be stacked and stickered. We have lots of aged, dry hardwood stacked here at our operation ready for your projects. :)

12’8” Hickory Log milled to 5 - 8/4 (2”) live edge slabs 18-22” wide, 2 - 6/4 (1 1/2”) live edge slabs 16-18” wide, 2 - 4/4 (1”) live edge boards: now stacked and stickered (very heavy!). We will leave these uncovered for a time to dry down in the sun and wind, then they will be covered to finish the process.

I just finished milling this prime hickory log 12ft. 8in long x 15 - 22 in wide slabs: some 6/4, mostly 8/4. Obviously green, but clear and straight grained. The 8/4 slabs are quarter/rift sawn.
$6/ Bd Ft off the mill. If we stack/sticker and cure, they will be $8-10/ Bd. Ft. They are available now.

This sign represents our inaugural effort to produce a finished sign on our newly acquired CNC router machine. The bed size is approximately 16” x 16,” thus we had to route this sign in stages on this 15”+ pine plank. (The long range plan is to convert our abundant supply of “wood art” into more finished products, ie. signs, sayings, simple art work, etc.) i used a propane torch to scorch the plank (first picture), then sealed the surface with a clear lacquer, followed by hand lettering the recessed figures with white, oil based, exterior enamel. This is likely the first of 3, (2 will hang on each side of the wood hauler wagon recently completed) with the 3rd strategically placed in front of the sawmill. :)

This wagon, loaded with 3 full cords of seasoned hardwood delivered (within 15 miles of Jefferson/Fort Atkinson) to your property for you to offload and stack, for $850. All racks are removable. (14 ft x 6.5 ft. X 4’ side rails). We will leave the wagon on site, if necessary for several days for you to offload.
