Bees help flowers pollinate to fruit and produce fruits or vegetables. They go from plant to plant, dance and brush against pollen and travel to other flowers to share what they’ve collected and pick-up more. When I think of plant-food crops and honey we think of bees. And bees are awesome!

There are also other pollinators out in the world too. But bees take the ‘pollen’, all puns included.

Aloha and Happy Thursday everyone 😎🤙🏾🏝🪴!

Been busily 🐝 getting our new grower ohana (family) loaded with the Sustainable Nutes line.

We’ll be supporting a beautiful and stunning hydroponic vanilla bean orchid (“Vanilla plantifolia”) nursery on Windward O’ahu. Literally this place is unbelievable and one of the top nurseries and cultivar I’ve had the pleasure of visiting 👏🏾👍🏾💪🏾🤙🏾! A ton of orchid knowledge and hard work at play there, and we’re excited to care for their nursery’s nutrient needs with our ‘Orchid and Exotic Plant Food’.

Our KickflipGenetics garden over at Sustainable Nutes. Looking like we’re in Week 5 of vegetative phase here 🏝☀️ 🤙🏾

Got the last of the early sexing at full show. It’s looking like we have some Galaxy Cream with 2x males and 3x females… Pure Michigan hybrid with 1x male and 2x female… Vanilla Gorilla Killer with 1x male and 2x female…

Not bad for regular phenos with just 7 females out of 11 🥳

They’re still growing strong in this tropical full-sun! We’ve been dealing with some environmental fluctuations like high heat, low trades, and high humidity recently, which definitely has made these plants a little extra thirsty we’ve noticed, but otherwise development is solid and males showed first (as usual 😂 ) most likely geneticly-true males versus stressed ploidy genetics.

Fed only Sustainable Nutes ‘Ups’ All-Natural Plant Food at 1.1 FL OZ per gallon once to twice per week.

Last watering we added 5 mL per gallon of some of our newest R&D SeaWeed batch made from invasive fermented seaweed.

Wondering what we will be doing with the males since we’re not breeding these days 🧐🤔… may do a tutorial on turning males into a plant input for pest management since there are available terpenes and cannabinoids that could help with certain pests and microbes or we might just make some low cannabinoid chewing gum for fun 🤣😂🤣
