On August 4, 2025, the Keenesburg Board of Trustees set Tuesday, September 30, 2025, as the date for the Keenesburg special municipal election for the purpose of determining whether Mayor Aron Lam and Trustee Cindy Baumgartner should be recalled from office. This election will be conducted as a polling place election, meaning all voting will take place in person on that date and that date only. The hours of voting will be from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and voting will take place at Town Hall.
