Welcome to KG's Leathercraft Designs where I specialize in providing quality hand crafted leather products. All items are made using the finest quality tooling and finished leathers. Not all leathers are the same and I take pride in using the best I can get my hands on at any given time. I mostly use Hermann Oak, Royal Meadow, or Oak Leaf brand veg tanned leathers for tooling and carving. Most of

the chap, upholstery, lining skins, and other finished leathers I use come from the same tanneries that European designers use for their high end leather fashion designs. I use professional dyes, stains, acrylics, and finishes to keep the leather looking great for years to come. And I use quality glue, threads/lace, and hardware for a finished product that is built to last. Just like anything else in this world you get what you pay for. Most of the cost for my work doesn't come from the materials, but from my time involved in creating these items. All products are made by my hands with a keen eye on craftsmanship, functionality, and design. I suggest doing some comparisons to other professional leathercrafters out there and I think you'll notice my prices aren't too outrageous for the quality and craftsmanship I provide. The "Dee Dee" tote bag is another model/design I named after my late mother since she had wanted a tote bag with a zippered closure. She passed before I could make her one, but I introduced this tote for a special Mother's Day release in 2022. This is the third "Dee Dee" tote bag I finished up on this day four years ago.

This day five years ago (April 26, 2021) I designed a leather purse for my mother. She liked it so much that I was asked to make another but in a darker brown leather. She would carry these switching them up here and there until her untimely passing later that same year. I wasn't sure if I was going to make another with this same design, but I decided to call this design/model "The Delores" in honor of my mother. I eventually made a couple more in 2022 for a special Mother's Day release that year.
