This stunning piece by ceramic artist Jamie Thomson showcases the magic of layered Coyote glazes!

Jamie brushed Autumn Spice MBG170 onto the rim and shoulder first, followed by a stripe of Smokey Pearl MBG233 near the base. The entire exterior was then coated with three layers of Star Dust MBG222, creating depth and movement. A ring of Gun Metal Green MBG026 was added along the outside and inside rim beneath the Autumn Spice before glaze firing to cone 6.

Jamie calls this her "unicorn vase" and we agree; it is one of a kind. Even better, Star Dust and Smokey Pearl are brand new releases from Coyote's Fantasy glaze line, bringing fresh possibilities to your glaze palette! Coyote's Fantasy Glazes feature a variety of rich, variegated colors.
