My name is Michael Robinson, I started out at the age of 18 at HVAC Tech. While attending HVAC School, I started working in my career as an apprentice for a shop out of Chicago, IL. Thankfully, my foreman was an incredibly knowledgeable man. Over th
e next 6 years, he educated me on new construction to rehabs, from residential to commercial. I was learning every construction trade needed, to construct a building. I learned every trade, including my own, HVAC. I started doing small jobs for friends here and there. It wasn't long before I realized I didn't have time to do it all. Something needed to give, so I took a chance and went on my own. I soon realized, in order to be successful, I needed to learn one more thing... Skyscrapers, I've never built a skyscraper! I slowed the growth of my business to go back to work for a company for more knowledge. The company realized, quite quickly, how broad my construction knowledge was. I went on to make foreman, for mechanicals on a 30 story building. I can't lie, it was so freaking awesome! Over the next 10 years I was put in charge to build 4 skyscrapers, 2 schools, a post office and 2 strip malls. Meanwhile, I still had my business growing the whole time. I know, talk about busy, busy right! Fast forward to 2016, and another light bulb goes off. Boom I have an idea. What if I combined real estate with my construction knowledge? Well, off to Real Estate School I go. After obtaining my Real Estate License I began to combine the 2 fields. As a Realtor, my clients were asking me for direction on home repairs, so they could get their home ready for market. They very quickly assessed, I was the man for the job. The word spread fast on the quality of my work and I found I had to make a choice... At that moment, Done Right Home Improvements LLC was born.
