I’d rather be honest than oversell a product.

The Party Straw is NOT the tool I’d grab for glue removal or coatings demo.

If you’ve been out by the University Lakes lately, you’ve seen that makeover moving right along. It’s looking sharp, but we all know the deal here in Baton Rouge: those afternoon downpours don't play around.

When you’re putting down outdoor overlays, safety is everything. A beautiful walkway isn't worth much if it turns into a skating rink the second it gets wet. Dem slick surfaces are just a liability waiting to happen. You gotta have a solid, slip-resistant texture that’s gonna keep folks on their feet, whether they’re jogging or just taking a stroll.

We see it all the time: guys skipping the texture to get a "cleaner" look, and then the first summer storm hits. Don't be that guy. Use the right additives and application techniques to make sure that concrete is as safe as it is good-looking.

People are finally getting tired of that cold, "hospital gray" look in their garages and shops. Lately, we’re seeing a massive shift toward warmer earth tones all over Lafayette and Baton Rouge. Homeowners are looking for a more residential, comfortable feel that doesn't feel like a sterile lab.

Look at dem pics: the difference is night and day. Our Shoreline blend has been a heavy hitter for this, giving guys that high-end tan finish that hides dirt better and looks way more inviting. But look, don’t let a change in color make you get lazy with the system. I’m still hearing about guys trying to save time by putting polyaspartic directly on the bare slab. That is a guaranteed failure. Always put down a Rapid MVB base coat first. Scrape it at about 90 minutes, then come back with your fast-cure poly top coat. That’s the only way to ensure that floor stays bonded for the long haul.
