It was gorgeous up in the high country today! PSA for CO friends(esp high country peeps) you can get firewood from BLM for $1 a cord and it’s bucked and ready to load. You just buy a permit on their website.

Had a blast at Red Rocks for Eric Church last night we got a little wet. Kelly went to get out of the rain for a little bit and got the video of the stairs that turned into waterfalls. He definitely picked the right night to do solo acoustic out of the three shows he played. Good times!

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Darren Byrd , and I am the owner of Big C Barnwood And More LLC, a reclaimed lumber company located here in Denver.

I am reaching out to this community to share some exciting news and extend an opportunity for collaboration. At Big C Barnwood And More, we have recently embarked on a mission to support immigrants arriving in Denver by providing them with an opportunity to get involved in woodworking and gardening.

We know all to well, starting a new life in a different country can be challenging, and access to resources and employment opportunities is crucial. With this in mind, we have decided to utilize our surplus of reclaimed wood to create planter boxes and phase in other projects to offer immigrants the chance to learn woodworking skills while also helping others beautify their own green spaces.

We believe that this initiative not only provides practical support but also fosters a sense of community and empowerment. By working together, we can make a positive impact on the lives of newcomers to our city and create a welcoming environment for all.
