Dear valued customers,
I hope this email finds you well as we enter the new year of 2024. I wanted to take a moment to share an important announcement with you all.
My wife Terry and I started Banning Lumber and Millwork in January of 1990 with the hope of building a business we would want to work for. We have taken great pride in building a business and team that we are proud of and which has provided exceptional service to our customers. After 34 years, Terry and I have decided it is time for us to enjoy the next chapter of our lives.
Gulf Eagle Supply, Inc. has met all our requirements for a company to succeed us. We are confident they will continue to provide the same high-quality service and core values that Banning Lumber and Millwork has always been known for. Founded in 1973, in Tampa, Gulf Eagle Supply, Inc. has grown to be nationwide with 113 locations. In 2018 Gulf Eagle Supply acquired Kimal Lumber in Southwest Florida to expand their business from roofing supply to include lumber. Along with Kimal came an engineered wood and truss plant, interior and exterior door manufacturing, a window division and a Design Center/Showroom.
With all this being said, we believe this new phase for Banning Lumber and Millwork will be rewarding for not only our Banning team, but to all our valuable customers. With a nationwide company comes larger buying power and greater resources. With the network of vendors we have used for years and the immense network that comes along with Gulf Eagle, our team is eager to continue to serve you with the added support and resources this decision has created.
I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to each and every one of you for your support and loyalty over the years. It has truly been an honor to serve you and be a part of your projects. I will miss working with you all, but I am excited for the next season in our lives.
