Meet James Smith, who went from Retail Sales Analyst to Channel Sales Representative at MAT Industries. James found MAT on LinkedIn six years ago while looking for work in the automotive industry.

Even though he had no manufacturing experience, he believed in himself: "I always bet on myself to figure things out," he says. That mindset helped him excel in his role and realize he had a knack for sales.

His transition to sales happened when he was asked to cover a trade show. "I'd never been to a tradeshow before, but I loved engaging with customers and talking about our products," James remembers.
