The race is on before the freeze! 🥶

We’re hauling as many boulders into the shop as we can before the ground freezes!

It might have been 65 degrees this week, but we all know what Minnesota weather can do! ❄️

Once they’re at the shop, we get to work cutting these massive rocks into natural stone steps. Pretty cool to see how a big boulder can turn into something beautiful in someone’s landscaping!

Now we’re curious… what’s the earliest you remember it snowing in Minnesota? ⛄️ Tell us in the comments!

A little bowling, some friendly competition, a few challenges, pizza, b**r, and fun🎳🎈

Yesterday afternoon we got to step away from work and just enjoy some time together.

We are incredibly thankful for the people who make up Northland Companies. Each of you brings something different to the team, and the hard work, dedication, and pride you put into what you do doesn’t go unnoticed.

We’re lucky to have such a great group of people working alongside us, and we hope you all had as much fun as we did!

Thank you for everything you do. We appreciate every one of you! 🧡

Some things just seem meant to be!

What started as a random Facebook message from a longtime family friend turned into a conversation we never expected — and eventually, an opportunity to purchase Leech Lake Mini Storage!

Sometimes the best opportunities are the ones you weren’t even looking for!

You may have already noticed a few changes, including our new Northland Companies Storage signs!

We’re grateful for another opportunity to invest in our local community, continue growing, and offer something new to the people we serve.

Here’s to another new chapter!

Can you still get a monument installed this fall is the biggest question we are getting lately.

If you’re just getting started now, the honest answer is probably not.

We don’t want to make false promises about timing. There’s a whole process that happens before a monument is ready to install — design, approval, granite, engraving, finishing, and then installation. And once we get to that point, Minnesota weather still gets a say.

We’ll keep installing as long as weather and ground conditions allow.

If you’ve been thinking about a monument, now is a good time to get the process started though. Let us help walk you through it.

HEY, quick heads up! 📞

We don’t want to miss a call from you — or from our grandson Braxton. 😉

But- we’re getting a new phone system installed Wednesday, September 30, so from 8:30–9:30 AM our phones may be down or experience interruptions.

If you can’t reach us, please try again after 9:30.

Sorry for the inconvenience, and thanks for your patience!

We’re always trying to learn, grow, get better — and share what we’re learning along the way. In business and in life.

So we thought we’d start sharing one question each Friday that made us stop and think this week.

➡️What do we already know isn’t working that we’re still tolerating?

Something to think about over the weekend — and if it hits home, share what came to mind.

Musty smells? Cold floors? A damp crawl space could be the problem.

Crawl spaces are one of those areas that can easily get overlooked — but when they’re properly sealed and insulated, it can make a HUGE difference in how your home feels.

Check out this video where Dylan walks through how we fix it.

Drier crawl space. Warmer floors. Musty smells gone.
