Your job responsibilities would include:
Service and Installation of manual and electrified commercial doors, hardware and operators.
Maintaining accurate service / installation data through diligent and timely use of all installation
documentation and technical data
Projecting a professional image through competent service procedures, professional
personal presentation, and communication with all customers
Managing assigned parts and consumable stocks effectively
Communicating with Sales and Service / Installation Management about customer complaints and sales opportunities Job Requirements
Functional Requirements:
Valid current driver’s license
Ability to lift and carry at least 140 pounds; 70 pounds over the shoulder. Frequent standing, stooping, crawling, twisting, bending, pushing, pulling, climbing and working overhead
Mechanical door and or door hardware knowledge
Automatic Entrance Systems Service and Installation Experience
An exceptional candidate would have a AAADM Certification or low voltage electrical license or knowledge of basic electronics and electrical theory, principles of microprocessor-controlled equipment and multi-meter instruments.
Ability to travel overnight on occasion
Ability to work overtime when required
Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
