WE’RE HIRING! 🔨

The new Jack’s Home + Hardware is getting closer, and now it’s time to start growing our team!

We’re accepting applications for full-time and part-time positions, including:

• Cashiers
• Sales Associates
• Inventory & Stock Associates
• Lumber Yard Associates
• Delivery Driver
• Home & Gift Sales Associates

We’re looking for friendly, dependable people who enjoy helping customers and want to be part of this exciting next chapter at Jack’s.

Applicants must be at least 16 years old. Some positions may have additional requirements based on job duties.

📅 Interviews will begin the week of September 14.

Our new store hours will be Monday-Saturday, 7 AM-6 PM, so applicants should be available to work shifts within those operating hours. Full-time and part-time schedules are available.

Interested? Stop by our current Jack’s location in Lucedale to pick up a paper application. Completed applications can be returned to the store.

We can’t wait to start building the team for the new Jack’s! 💚

A new name. The same Jack’s. And a whole lot more. ❤️

In 1980, Jack and Marsha Peters opened the doors to Jack’s Discount Building Materials right here in Lucedale.

Twenty years later, as the business grew, so did the name - becoming Jack’s Home Improvement Center.

In 2020, Jeffry and Morgan Peters purchased the family business, continuing what Jack and Marsha started and carrying it into the next generation.

And now, 46 years after it all began, we’re growing again!

As we prepare to move into our new 40,000-square-foot location, we’re excited to introduce the next chapter:

JACK’S HOME + HARDWARE

The new name reflects what Jack’s is becoming: more hardware, more tools, more lumber and building materials, plus outdoor living, grills, lawn & garden, home decor, gifts and so much more.

But the most important part isn’t changing.

Same family. Same local team. Same commitment to serving Lucedale and George County that has been at the heart of Jack’s since 1980.

The buildings have changed. The business has grown. And the name has evolved along the way.

But around here, we have a feeling you’ll still just say…
“I’m going to Jack’s.” ❤️

Ok, y’all one of the biggest questions I’ve been asked is…“Will Plant & Patio be coming to Lucedale?”

The answer is YES!🤩

I’m so excited to finally share that Jack’s Plant + Patio is coming to the new Jack’s Home Improvement!

If you’ve visited us in Wiggins, you know Plant + Patio is about so much more than plants. It’s a place to find inspiration for your porch, your home, your patio, and every season in between. From outdoor living to home décor, gifts, and all the little touches that make a house feel like home…we’re bringing that experience to Lucedale!

This has been one of the parts of the new store I’m most excited about, and I truly can’t wait to welcome you in.

We’re getting closer every week, and trust me…we’ve still got a few more surprises to share. 👀 Stay tuned!

Today we’re celebrating America’s 250th birthday with our families.

Both locations of Jack’s Home Improvement are closed today, July 4, and will reopen Monday at 7:00 AM.
