35 years ago today, Knox Hardwood Flooring was created by the greatest man I ever knew, my beloved Giles Weaver. His goal was to provide contractors and homeowners with the best quality material and workmanship in hardwood flooring and he succeeded. Sadly, he passed away in 2007, but he left a legacy like no other. As his wife, partner, and best friend I have carried on that legacy. As with all businesses, we have had our ups and downs, good times and bad, but we have survived. Our customers have always been loyal and we are eternally grateful to them. We have continued to provide quality material and workmanship and will do so for as long as the good Lord above lets us. I love this business and I love the man who started it even though he's gone. Thank you for a truly blessed 35 years and thank you Giles.

Happy Friday everyone. I am spending the day in beautiful Louisville, TN, tearing out hardwood floors in a lake house that was left unattended during the winter and had a pipe burst flooding most of the house and the sunroom. Unfortunately, the floors could not be saved and the subfloor may have to be replaced due to mold and mildew. Fun times. The good news is that I have only found 1 board so far that was eaten up by termites. Stay tuned.

Some of you may already be aware of the fact that I temporarily closed my business to take care of my mom who was very ill. Thank the Lord above, she is much better now and I have decided to reopen my business and go back to work. Unfortunately, I sold my building in Knoxville and am currently working from my home until I am able to find a new warehouse/ office/ showroom. I have an amazing crew and am ready to take care of all of your hardwood floor needs. We are also now installing LVP floors.
