The truck we were anticipating arrived. We do have flashlights, batteries, gas cans, propane, small propane bottles and drain tile. We do not have generators. Those went to areas that will be more greatly impacted by the storm. We also have a wide variety of other storm preparedness products. Pleas be patient if we cannot get to the phone right away.

We hope everyone is doing what they can to prepare for the upcoming weather. We will try to keep you posted on the availability of supplies that you may need. We anticipate a truck this morning that will have sandbags, sand, batteries and flashlights. Please remember that we are doing the best we can to have what you may need to prepare for this storm.

You may be wondering about the changes at Lynchburg True Value, so I thought I would give you an update. The company is rebranding from Lynchburg True Value to Overstreet Hardware & Rental. We are also switching distributors from True Value to Ace. The distributor change allows us to better serve our customers and offer the best possible products. Our second location is under construction in Forest and will be called Overstreet Hardware & Home (no rental in Forest). Although we are undergoing changes we are still the same locally owned and operated business. You will see the same faces and receive the same great service that you are accustomed to while we change and grow to better serve you, our customers. The store at 2650 Lakeside Dr is having a close out sale to make room for the Ace conversion. Stop by and see if there are any deals for you!
