Meet Jim Hoefakker!

This month, we’re highlighting Jim Hoefakker, who’s been keeping things running at our Lynden location as our Kubota Shop Lead and Kubota Master Technician for 10 years!

When asked what he enjoys most about his job, Jim highlighted the great coworkers he gets to work alongside and the challenge of diagnosing equipment problems. He enjoys the problem-solving process and figuring out what it takes to get equipment back up and running.

His favorite piece of equipment? Would have to be the Kubota M7 tractors. Big, powerful, and just plain cool! But let’s be honest, it’s hard not to love a big tractor!

Outside the shop, Jim loves spending time with his kids, whether he’s out boating or enjoying watersports like surfing. From cruising on the water to simply hanging out with his kids, he’s always happy to make lasting memories with his family.

Jim, thank you for 10 years of hard work, problem-solving, and dedication to keeping our customers happy and their equipment running smoothly! We’re grateful to have you on the Scholtens Equipment team!
