Day 4 after surgery.

As the days go on, I find I'm able to now do small things like open doors and pick up a drink. As far as I can tell, the swelling is gone and bruising has stopped moving up my arm. Less and less tender every day. My next hurdle is to get enough strength back to dress myself haha. Still can't put on my own socks. It's belittling but at the same time I'm so abundantly blessed with an amazing family. All they do is look for ways to help me out. I couldn't be more grateful. Yall know me though. I'm stubborn as hell so I rather try to do it than ask for help, but I have found that's the worst thing to do. The limit between being able to do and not do, with this hand, is a razors edge. It doesn't hurt to do something...until it does...and then, it feels like the incision is being ripped open and my muscles are being ripped. So its a learning curve as to figuring out which way I can use the hand without the intense pain lol. Slow and steady is my friend, for now.

Welded both halves together then forge welded them. Guaranteed solid now haha. A litte grinding and file work, then this...
