The Cultural Commons project received the 2021 Special Merit – Decorative Commercial category award from the Wisconsin Ready Mixed Concrete Association. More than 40 cubic yards of integrally colored ready-mix supplied by County Ready Mix was used to form the project’s most prominent features, including its donor benches, walkways stamped with Stevens Point Rotary Club emblems, and poured-in-place chess tables.
