One of my favorite things about MAB is getting to support the next generation of builders, makers, problem-solvers, and hard workers right here in our area.

That’s what Tools for Schools is all about.

From June 15 through August 31, we’re collecting tools, safety gear, measuring tools, power tools, and shop/classroom supplies for local students pursuing careers in the skilled trades.

These students are learning the skills that keep our communities growing. Construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, welding, carpentry, and so much more. A donated hammer, pair of safety glasses, tape measure, drill, or toolbox might seem small, but to a student just getting started, it can make a huge difference.

Drop-off locations include:

📍 Rolling Hills Lumber, Max
📍 Acme Rents - Minot, ND
📍 Ace Hardware, Minot
📍 Muus Lumber & Hardware, Minot
📍 Minot Association of Builders, Minot

Can’t donate a tool? Monetary donations are welcome too, and every bit helps us put supplies where they’re needed most.

Thank you for helping us support local trades education and the future workforce of our community.

Every tool makes a difference. 🛠️

We believe solutions should be grounded in real-world experience.
From military service and small business ownership to local board and ministry leadership, we bring hands-on experience to policymaking. We focus on practical, results-driven solutions that reflect the needs and values of North Dakota communities—not one-size-fits-all mandates.
