It is with little sleep and heartbreak that we are posting the below letter we received in regards to our Winter Market tomorrow.

We want to apologize to all of you. We have bounced you around in hopes to hold this magical event and have not prevailed. So for that, we are sorry.

Perhaps Casady and I should have categorized this event as a protest. Or coordinated with Target, Walmart, Sams Club or Costco. Flooded the aisles with small business. Maybe then it would have been deemed essential.

We assure you we had all necessary precautions in place for the safety of you, your family and everyone involved. This included one way traffic, masks requirements, hand sanitizer stations, one entrance and one exit. This deems no explanation but we feel the need to assure you of our efforts.

In the final days leading to Christmas, please consider small business. These are individuals, not big box stores. Individuals paying a mortgage, rent, grocery bills, daycare and day to day life expenses we all have. They are US.

Walmart will be fine.
Target will be fine.
Amazon will be fine.

From the bottom of our hearts, we are sorry. We will see you all in May and believe us, we can't wait to see you.
