Material doesn’t always need to move from Point A to Point B on the same level.

Incline and decline conveyors allow products to move between different elevations while keeping material flowing through the operation.

They can be used to connect production areas, move products between floors or mezzanine levels, overcome changes in elevation, or simply make better use of available facility space.

But the incline itself is only part of the equation. Product size and weight, conveyor angle, speed, available space, and how the material enters and exits the conveyor all play a role in the design.

Your pallet rack doesn’t have to collapse to tell you there’s a problem.

Most rack damage gives you warning signs long before a serious failure occurs. The key is knowing what to look for.

Forklift traffic, repeated loading and unloading, and everyday warehouse activity can take a toll on a racking system over time. Some damage is obvious, but other issues can be much easier to overlook.

A few things worth paying attention to:

Bent or twisted uprights
Damaged beams or connectors
Missing or broken safety clips
Loose or damaged anchors
Impact damage near the base of uprights
Racks that appear out of alignment
Damaged wire decking or other components
Finding damage is only the first step. Understanding its severity and determining the appropriate next step is just as important.

The best working height isn’t always the same height.

In manufacturing and material handling operations, employees are constantly loading, unloading, positioning, and working with materials of different sizes and weights. A fixed-height workstation doesn’t always make sense.

Lift tables and pallet positioners bring the work to the operator, allowing loads to be raised or lowered based on the task at hand. From individual workstations to larger integrated production systems, they can reduce unnecessary bending, reaching, and manual handling throughout the process.

More pallet storage doesn't always require more floor space.

Push-back racking makes better use of your existing footprint by storing pallets multiple positions deep within each lane.

As a pallet is loaded, it pushes the previous pallet back on a nested cart system. When a pallet is removed, the next one moves forward into position, allowing operators to load and unload from the same aisle.

It's a smart option for facilities storing multiple pallets of the same SKU that need more capacity without sacrificing accessibility.

Sometimes the opportunity for more storage is already inside your facility. It's just about using the space differently.
