September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and for Maximus Building Supply, this cause is deeply personal. 💛

For the fifth year, we are proud to partner with Team Carson Elizabeth, created in memory of Carson Elizabeth Head, who was diagnosed with osteosarcoma the day before her 8th birthday and lost her courageous battle far too young. Carson’s father, Michael Head, is one of the owners of Maximus Building Supply, and her story continues to inspire our commitment to helping find cures for childhood cancer.

Throughout September, our special CCAM house wrap is available for $95 per roll and 100% of the purchase price will be donated to Team Carson Elizabeth’s St. Jude fundraising efforts.

Since launching our CCAM house wrap campaign in 2022, sales of the special house wrap, along with additional contributions connected to the campaign, have generated nearly $250,000 in donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Help us honor Carson’s legacy and support St. Jude in the fight to reach a 100% childhood cancer survival rate.

But this growth is about more than expanding our services it’s about people and relationships. With Skip Gallagher and Larry Dixon joining the Maximus team, we’re bringing together decades of industry experience, trusted relationships and a shared commitment to taking care of our customers.

We are incredibly humbled and honored to share that Maximus Building Supply has been named the St. Jude Dream Home Program’s Trade Partner of the Year. An award presented across more than 55 participating markets nationwide.

Each year, this recognition honors a trade partner that has gone above and beyond to support the mission of St. Jude through the Dream Home Giveaway. Being chosen for this award means more to our Maximus family than we can adequately express.

While our name may be on the award, this honor belongs to so many.

To our customers: Thank you for believing in what we do and helping us make giving back an important part of our work.

To our team: Thank you for embracing the mission of St. Jude with your whole hearts. Your generosity, hard work and commitment have made this cause part of the culture of Maximus.

To our vendors and trade partners: Thank you for standing beside us and helping provide the materials and support that make these beautiful homes and the lifesaving work they represent possible.

We also want to offer our heartfelt appreciation to Greg Bridgers and Southern Serenity Homes. For more than 20 years, Greg has served as the builder of the St. Jude Dream Home in the Memphis market.

This year, our support has grown beyond the Memphis St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway as Maximus has also stepped forward as a major donor for the inaugural Oxford, Mississippi, campaign.

At Maximus, supporting St. Jude is about so much more than supplying building materials. It is about helping build hope. It is about standing with families during their most difficult moments.

We were grateful to join members and friends of West Tennessee Professional Women in Building for an inspiring tour of the St. Jude campus. Seeing so many people from our building community come together in support of this extraordinary mission made the experience even more meaningful.

Thank you again to Amee Cooper, current president of PWB and a member of the Maximus Building Supply team, for organizing this special visit. We are proud to stand alongside others who share our commitment to supporting St. Jude and the lifesaving work happening right here in Memphis.

Today was a powerful reminder of why supporting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital means so much to the Maximus Building Supply family. ❤️

Amee Cooper, a member of the Maximus team and current president of Professional Women in Building, organized a special visit to St. Jude, where our group had the opportunity to tour the campus and witness the incredible work taking place right here in Memphis.

One of the most meaningful moments of the day came from Paula Head, wife of Maximus partner Michael Head and a member of the St. Jude team. Paula shared her family’s deeply personal experience with St. Jude and the story of their daughter, Carson Elizabeth, who courageously battled cancer.

Carson Elizabeth’s legacy continues to touch countless lives and inspire our commitment to helping create a future where no family has to lose a child to cancer.

Walking the halls of St. Jude and seeing its extraordinary mission in action reminded us that this is so much more than a hospital. It is a place of hope, healing, compassion and groundbreaking discovery—for children and families in Memphis and around the world.

Maximus is incredibly proud to support St. Jude and grateful for the opportunity to stand behind a mission that is changing—and saving—lives every day.

We're excited to welcome Skip Gallagher to the Maximus Building Supply team!

For more than 45 years, Skip has built lasting relationships throughout the Mid-South by taking care of builders and customers with honesty, knowledge and exceptional service. His reputation in our industry speaks for itself, and we're proud to have him join the Maximus family.

This is also a special moment because it brings together three people whose careers have been connected by a shared commitment to serving builders. Richard Cooper began his career working with Skip's father back in 1997, and our Senior Sales Coordinator, Cindy Manley, started her career working alongside Skip more than 42 years ago. Today, they're reunited on the same team—bringing decades of experience, trusted relationships and a passion for taking care of customers.
