I had always been so proud to call the little river hardware my second home. I would get off from school from Moon lake School ride the bus to the hardware where my dad would have me do inventory and plumbing and fasteners, y'all need to quit being lazy put it back where you got it from 😂. That was kind of tough for a 10-year-old. But I'm glad because it helped make me the man I am today a home building contractor and an HVAC contractor. And sometimes I would call my dad's 1-800 number we used to have one for the Little River hardware back in the day all the way from academy. And even further on my journeys I was proud to call Mentone home because nobody in the Carpathian mountains who were visiting from England and Germany would believe me that in Alabama we would have our own ski resort. And even in the academy they just couldn't fathom it. I've been to Grand junction Colorado skied there at Grand Mesa skied cross different resorts in Utah and colorado. And as simple as our little Cloudmont Ski & Golf is it brought me great joy to share the knowledge and experience of my childhood with others. As I am on my way out I'm so glad to see people continuing the vision. Jedidiah.
